Users

What it's for

Users controls who on your team can access Trust Central, and what they're allowed to do there. This is a standard access-management screen, but it's worth treating deliberately: Trust Central gives access to applicant selfies, ID documents, and risk decisions, so who has an account here is a data-governance question, not just a convenience setting.

What you can configure

  • Create User — add a new team member by email/username.
  • Role — each user is assigned a role that determines their permission level (e.g. an administrative role with full configuration access, versus an analyst-style role with more limited, typically read/reporting-oriented access). Apply the principle of least privilege — not everyone who needs dashboard numbers needs the ability to change channel or workflow configuration.
  • Active / Inactive — toggle a user's access on or off without deleting their account, which preserves an audit history of who has had access over time. Set departing team members to Inactive promptly; stale active accounts are a basic access-hygiene risk given the sensitivity of the data behind this console.
  • Search and filter — find a specific user by email or username. Use this to audit the full user list periodically, not just newly added users, to catch accounts that should have been deactivated but weren't.
  • For what those users will be able to see and touch once granted access, see the rest of this guide — particularly Applications (personal data) and Channels / Workflows (configuration that affects live decisions).
  • For your organization's broader data handling posture, see Data & Privacy.
